
Celebrant, singer, musician, digital artist and poet. Born as Gerardus Wilhelmus Theodorus Cornielje on the 12th of June 1962 in 's-Heerenberg in The Netherlands.
I published my first book of poetry at the age of 16. Since then I have published 8 books in total and I am still writing every day!
In 2011 I was honoured with the 'Zilveren Brandnetel' a Dutch literature prize I received for my poem
I write my poetry in 3 languages: Dutch, English and German.
Alongside my poetry I create digital Illustrations. I use Rebelle 7 Pro - Dall-E 3 and some Flux models for these images.
I a have just finished a large book of poetry and art with the title "Love, Lust & Despair" - surrealistic poetry with very strong illustrations. The book consists of 150 poems, each of which appears alongside its own full colour illustration.
The book will appear beginning 2026 and will be a collectors item of about 700 pages in A4 size. The first print will be a limited edition of 500 hand signed books, adorned with a gold-leaf seal with my coat of arms.
Planned for June 2026 is a book I am currently working on. It is titled "Duende" and it will be a series of Crown of Sonnets on Spain and on Duende, that mysterious force described by the great poet Federico Garcia Lorca. In my blog you can find some of the works that will be in the book. It will contain 227 Sonnets and 20 full colour Illustrations.
Planned for December 2026 is "A Thread of Wind"
This collection of poems uses traditional Japanese poetic forms, which are woven together with a modern sensibility. The book features a blend of Haiku, Tanka, Chōka, Senryū and Haibun, each carrying its own weight and significance. This book will contain 300 short poems and 50 full colour illustrations.

Ende November erscheint mein nächstes Buch in der deutschen Sprache: "50 Grimmige Märchen, Nix für Weicheier" Das Buch erscheint im Litego Verlag.

My style is influenced by surrealism and expressionism. Artists that influence me are Gustave Doré, Salvador Dali, Hieronymus Bosch, M.C. Escher, H.R. Giger and Gustav Klimt. Quite a mix indeed!
